Dominic Bush is a maritime archaeologist and PhD Candidate within East Carolina University’s Coastal Resource Management Program. Originally from Oahu, Hawaii, Dominic holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame and an M.A. in Anthropology from Washington State University. He has worked on underwater archaeological projects both within North Carolina and throughout the Pacific. Dominic’s current research is focused on the management of submerged World War II sites, particularly as it relates to effects of corrosion and microorganisms
